iPhone Black Friday deals are the best way to take the sting out of your next Apple purchase. We can never be certain which models will go on sale over the holidays, but we could see some carriers or retailers drop the price of the latest iPhone 17 SKUs, if we are lucky. We would hedge a bet on some potential iPhone 16 trade-in offers and the 15, 14, and older dropping dramatically in the coming weeks.

When do Black Friday deals start on iPhones?

Black Friday deals on iPhones often start appearing as early as mid-November, with many retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and major carriers such as Verizon and AT&T offering ‘early Black Friday’ discounts. These deals include trade-in offers, reduced monthly plans, or outright discounts on models like the iPhone 16 and 15. The most significant savings typically occur closer to Black Friday itself (November 28) and extend through to Cyber Monday (December 1).

Is Black Friday the best time for a deal on iPhones?

In most cases, yes. Black Friday is when you’re most likely to find meaningful savings on Macbooks and iPhones, especially on slightly older models. Apple itself rarely slashes prices directly, but third-party retailers and carriers get more aggressive around this time, offering trade-in credits, contract incentives, and bundles with gift cards or accessories.

Will we see Black Friday iPhone 17 deals in 2025?

Don’t expect big cash discounts on the newest iPhone 17 lineup; Apple tends to hold firm on pricing for newly released devices. However, we’ll likely see carriers and major retailers offer indirect savings, such as trade-in boosts, contract credits, or gift card bundles.

If you’ve got an older iPhone to trade in, that could be your ticket to cutting the cost of upgrading to a 17. Otherwise, you may find the iPhone 16 series offers far better value this season.

It still delivers flagship-level performance, excellent cameras, and USB-C support. Unless you need the very latest chip or camera system, the 15 is likely to offer the best blend of capability and price in 2025.

Best retailers for iPhone Black Friday deals

Amazon is expected to feature discounts on unlocked iPhones and accessories, making it a solid option for those who prefer contract-free devices. Best Buy will likely provide substantial savings when activating phones with carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Walmart is known for bundling trade-in deals with gift card bonuses, offering added value. Similarly, Target may offer package deals, often including store gift cards with purchases.

Carrier stores like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile typically promote trade-in deals, discounts for new lines, or contract renewals during Black Friday. Although the Apple Store doesn’t usually discount iPhones directly, it often provides gift cards with purchases during its holiday promotions. With deals varying between retailers, comparing offers will be essential to maximize savings.
