DJI has officially teased the Neo 2, its latest ultra-light consumer drone, with the new tagline “Fly Your Way”. While the drone has already launched in China, DJI has now teased a November 13th release for Europe, Canada, and Brazil. The image gives a first glimpse at what appears to be the Neo 2 in flight, hinting at refined aerodynamics, improved obstacle avoidance, and a longer battery life, making it one of DJI’s most advanced sub-250g drones yet.

So why was DJI Neo 2’s global launch delayed?

According to reliable leaker Jasper Ellens (@JasperEllens), the Neo 2’s release strategy is taking a “China-first” approach.

DJI’s initial teaser posts and promotional materials were shared primarily through Chinese channels, including Weibo, with no global email campaign or English-language press release. The Neo 2 teaser and pre-launch pages are currently visible only on DJI’s Chinese-language site, suggesting that global listings haven’t yet been prepared.
