With this bump, the R6 Mark III now rivals hybrid favorites like the Sony A7 IV in resolution and versatility.

The camera retains Canon’s DIGIC X processor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system, offering 100% autofocus coverage and sensitivity down to –6.5 EV, ideal for low-light scenes. A new pre-continuous shooting mode, borrowed from Canon’s flagship R1 and R5 Mark II, allows photographers to capture moments even before fully pressing the shutter.
