DJI may not be slowing down anytime soon. After a packed year that saw the release of two flagship drones and the company’s first 360 action camera, new reports suggest the drone giant still has several major product announcements lined up before 2025 wraps up — despite ongoing regulatory hurdles in the United States.

According to a report from DroneXL, DJI is preparing to launch three new products in November: the Neo 2 FPV drone, the Osmo Mobile 8 smartphone gimbal, and the Mic 3 Pro wireless microphone. If true, these releases would mark a significant hardware refresh across DJI’s ecosystem just in time for the holiday season.

DJI Neo 2 FPV Drone

Among the rumored releases, the most anticipated is the DJI Neo 2, an upgrade to the company’s popular ultralight Neo FPV drone. The original model earned praise for its hybrid operation that let pilots switch between autonomous flight and full FPV control.

Based on recent FCC filings, the Neo 2 is expected to feature:

  • A 1606mAh battery, about 12% larger than the previous 1435mAh unit — potentially extending flight time to 20–25 minutes.
  • A 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor capable of 4K60p recording with 13.5 stops of dynamic range.
  • Support for true HDR, 10-bit color, and D-Log M for greater post-production flexibility.
  • An estimated 10 km range and 22GB of internal storage.

If these specs prove accurate, the Neo 2 could become one of DJI’s most capable compact drones for both casual pilots and FPV enthusiasts.

DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Gimbal

Also spotted in FCC documents is the Osmo Mobile 8, the next evolution of DJI’s popular smartphone gimbal. While official specs remain under wraps, reports suggest DJI could focus on improving motor strength to handle heavier smartphones and battery life to extend recording sessions.

There’s also speculation that the Osmo Mobile 8 will integrate with the OsmoAudio ecosystem, potentially allowing seamless pairing with DJI’s latest wireless mics for creators who shoot and record on mobile setups.

DJI Mic 3 Pro Wireless Microphone

Rounding out the rumored lineup is the DJI Mic 3 Pro, a more advanced version of the recently released Mic 3 system. Aimed at professionals, the Pro variant could address several pain points from the base model — including limited weatherproofing, lack of XLR support, and restricted internal storage (32GB).

Upgrades in build quality, compatibility, and recording endurance would make the Mic 3 Pro a more robust choice for field work and video production.

Possible Launch Timeline

While no official dates or prices have been confirmed, multiple sources suggest the new products could debut in November 2025. DJI has yet to comment on the rumors, so these details should be treated as speculative for now.

If the reports are accurate, though, DJI could be closing the year with one of its most ambitious product pushes yet — spanning drones, audio, and mobile content creation tools.

We’ll continue monitoring the developments and update this story as more concrete information emerges.
